Itinerary
Below is the itinerary I started out the hike with. For the most part I stuck to it, though I did hike more quickly than it projected because I wanted to get out of Colorado before the end of September to avoid the snow. I decided not to stop at Big Sandy Lodge because I wanted to hike through the Cirque of the Towers instead. This made for a long run between resupply stops, but the scenery made carrying the extra food weight worth it.
You can also download it as an Excel file if you want to alter it to create your own. I tried to make it accurate, but please confirm the information on it if you are going to depend on it. I estimated the mileages based on the route I planned to take. Your mileages will surely vary, so look at this column carefully. Post Offices move, hours change and so do phone numbers, so check them out too.
